What if

What’s with this meaning of life stuff?

What does cosmic meaning even mean?

Why am I here?

“to do God’s will” What the hell is that?

“to love my fellow man” What is he here for then?

“to make the world a better place” Well that’s a low bar.

What if…life just is.

What if …each day is what it’s about.

not necessarily earning a living, or

living up to your expectations, or

even living life to the fullest.

But just being alive.

What if life is nothing more than the sum of its parts:

the breeze on your face as you walk to work,

the growl in your stomach when lunch is late,

waking up to the sound of a car alarm in the middle of the night and thinking it is the cicada bugs,

or stopping to catch your breath as you miss the bus,

Plus the smell of your grandmother’s perfume, or the warmth and weight of your blankets on a frosty morning.

Could we really ask for anything else?
